Originally released in 2019, GODTET II captured the band in full flow: recorded largely in a single day in Melbourne and rooted in raw improvisation, the album built on the immersive energy of their debut.

Though improvised, the sessions were grounded by a bank of samples curated by Godriguez. Fragments and loops the band used as creative prompts, playing in and around them. The result is a unique hybrid: part producer-led beat tape, part live instrumental record, blurring the boundary between programmed and performed.
